The inaugural Brightest Young Minds Summit was a fantastic success. 100 delegates from all across Australia descended on Sydney on Sunday 21 January for a 5 day life changing experience. During this time they were hosted by DLA Phillips Fox, in their conferencing facilities with breathtaking views of Sydney.

The delegates were a group diverse in every way - age, educational background, culture and ethnicity. This rich tapestry of experience was key in making the Summit so effective. What actually united the group was an amazing passion to make a change and to think big - and that is exactly what they did!

During the Summit the delegates heard inspirational words from a diverse array of speakers:

Over the course of the Summit, the delegates engaged in a great deal of both thought provoking and productive discourse. But they also got to play hard, enjoying great social events like a beach picnic, team drumming, and drinks at the Sydney hotspots.

By the end of the Summit, the delegates were driven to make a reality out of the incredible ideas they had developed for new social initiatives. In addition to that, they had built a strong community of impassioned young Australians who were united by the fact that they wanted to live a life that was, in the words of a delegate, "significant - not just successful."
